Using buffalo horn for scabbard which is embellished with national symbols of Nepal such national bird (Danfe), national flower (Laligurans), Gurkha insignia ( cross khukuri),The handle of this khukuri (kukri) is always depicted with the inscription of the temple. This khukuri (kukri) is considered as a decorative because of the priced possesed with the work done on it though the quality of the blade being the same as the working ones.
