This Chainpure khukuri (kukri) comes from the village called Chainpur which lies in the eastern part of Nepal. This khukuri (kukri) is slightly different from other khukuri (kukri) because of its close notch and different shaped handle. It has beautifully carved plain Indian rose wood scabbard which is embellished with brass binding.It is the improvised version of Chainpure Wooden khukuri (kukri).
